Business as unusual: Disability inclusion practices of private sector employers in Kenya
The private sector in Kenya still offers few opportunities for persons with disabilities. This is depicted
by the fact that only 2.3% of employees in the companies in this publication were persons with disabilities, nonetheless, it is important to highlight their approaches to inclusion. Their good
practices are worth sharing. The motivations for the employment of persons with disabilities include
the spirit of inclusion at the workplace, recognition that diversity is a strength and offering equal opportunities for all.
